I really admire Maggie Gyllenhaal. Apart from acting in movies, Maggie is actively involved in social and political activities as she is an active participant in the US campaign against the war in Iraq. Maggie is a supporter of Witness, a nonprofit organization that uses video and online technology to expose human rights abuses. She is also an ambassador and has supported Hear the World for nine years.
Maggie Gyllenhaal was invited to attend at the “Groundhog Day” Broadway Opening Night on Monday April 17. The 39-year-old actress appeared with a black cropped jacket over a white midi dress and black leather slip-ons. The stylish Hollywood beauty looked incredible in Messy Updo and bright red lips. I loved Maggie Gyllenhaal’s dress, which was not surprising to me because I usually love Maggie Gyllenhaal’s dress. She’s so good at choosing patterns and proportions that work for her.
The “Groundhog Day” musical opened on Monday Night April 17, on Broadway at the August Wilson Theatre (245 West 52nd Street). It is adapted from the 1993 film of the same name by Tim Minchin, Danny Rubin and Matthew Warchus, about the weatherman who mysteriously stuck a small town relives relived the same day over and over again.
Many celebrities and movie stars also turned up the show night.
