How To Setup Netgear Wi-Fi Range Extender Manually

How to manually connect the NETGEAR Wi-Fi Extender:

Step 2: Use My Wifi Ext Login to get to the settings of NETGEAR Wi-Fi Extender

 Enter the username and password.

 If you don’t know the default login details, then you can use below-mentioned details:

 Username: admin

 Password: password

 Important: Remember that the username and password are both case-sensitive.

Step 3: Now click on Setup followed by Wireless Settings

Step 4: Look for the password value that is given in the tab named ‘Security Options’. The password should match the router password.

Step 5: Select ‘Apply’

Step 6: Connect the NETGEAR Wi-Fi Extender to Wi-Fi devices once again.

If you don’t have an Ethernet port then:

Step 1: Reset the Wi-Fi Extender to factory default.

For that, you need to press Factory reset button and hold it for a few seconds. This button is given on the side panel of the device.

Step 2: Now connect the NETGEAR Wi-Fi extender to your Wi-Fi.

Step 3: Now Login http www.myWiFiext.net

 You are going to be automatically directed to enter the username and password.

 For that your default credentials are as under:

 Username: admin

 Password: password

 With both as case sensitive.

Step 4: Carefully go on as per the aforementioned process for setting up the router connection.

Step 5: Now you can reconnect your Wi-Fi devices with Netgear Wi-Fi Extender.
