Gotham’s Classic Stage Company has announced its 2011 season, including a new “Three Sisters” starring Maggie Gyllenhaal and Peter Sarsgaard and new work by Sarah Ruhl and Shakespeare. Yes, that Shakespeare.
Gyllenhaal and Sarsgaard will star alongside Mamie Gummer and Josh Hamilton in the influential Chekhov drama. Austin Pendleton (who directed much of the “Sisters” cast in CSC’s 2009 “Uncle Vanya“) will helm the January production.
